Welcome to the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-am, which is hosted by Pebble Beach in California.
Everyone has heard about Pebble Beach. I think it is one of those courses that every golfer around the world would love the chance to play here just once in their lifetime. It has incredible views as it curves around the coastline. The wind will not only knock you over but also pretty much completely change your game.
Kevin James (star of The King of Queens) and Ray Romano (Everybody loves Raymond) made a hit documentary called “Making the Cut – the Road to Pebble Beach” it follows them as they attempt to make the cut at Pebble Beach. It is really funny and gives you a good look into the course. It’s a good rent, especially this week!
Dustin Johnson is the defending champ this week. Stakes are high; the purse is 6.1 million, which means the winner will take home a nice $1, 080,000 and 500 FedExCup points. Par is 72 and the course is 6816 yards. Don’t be fooled by it being a shorter course, its extremely challenging.
Aaron enjoys the AT&T and is very excited to get out there on Thursday. He is keen to start really feeling in tune with his game. Badds has been working extremely hard on his swing. Golfers are always seeking ways to improve their game, from fitness to nutrition to their swing they will spend their entire career working hard at improving. Aaron has made some large changes to his swing over the past few months and now he is in the process of fine-tuning those changes.
I hope you have the chance to watch this week – I’m sure it will be very exciting!
